It is week 5. This weeks the task was to pick a piece of work done from the previous weeks and what improvement could be done to make it interesting or different. The work that I have chosen is Ann Lee from week one.
Reflection of weeks one work(AnnLee)
In general, I am happy with the visuals of my work. I did enjoy the process of making it rather than the research, but it did help me to explore the inner side of Ann Lee and understand her a little bit better. While making this, I could relate to her in a way. There are different personalities inside of us and I feel like I was trying to express this though this work of art. Although I am happy with how my work turned out I would like to make her come to life. To do that I would create an Instagram account, make her an influencer, and draw her in full body. I would still use the same technique as I did for my first work or make it simple and draw her in pencil.
Description of my work and improvement
I have done a few pencil drawings of AnnLee. My drawings include; her taking a picture in a mirror and a few outfits drawing. I have uploaded them on Instagram to start off her influencer career. Her instagarm is (@ann_leebygreta) I am not happy with the outcome of my work. I would needed more time to create a better version of her and I was struggling to figure that out. Also adding some colour to my drawings or even shading would make a significant difference. To improve my work, I would put more effort into drawing her while she does typical day-to-day activities like, getting coffee or grocery shopping which would then be uploaded on Instagram. I would also pay more attention to detail.

Feedback: while having a group discussion there have been some good improvements that were suggested by my class mates that included: creating a moving image of her, something like gif. Instead of drawing her out each time in each picture I could use photoshop to create one still image and use it all the time but only changing the: hair style, make up and clothes. I could also make or use a filter on instagram that looks like her, again, instead of drawing her every time I could use that instead. References that I could look at are: Miquela.
After the discussion It made me think more about this work and what I could improve or even think about in the long run. Because I made the Instagram account I could be posting consistently which could lead to using the account to develop the character I have created. My pictures are in pencil and the character doesn’t seem real, there for I should consider using photoshop to other digital programs to make her look like a real person. I have created this personality for her and what would it be like if I would have said something else behind those pictures. I could also consider making multiple instagram accounts for her multiple personalities.
